MISSION:
Highland
Community Residential Services exists to foster personal growth,
independent living and a high quality of life for persons with a
developmental disability and/or who are dealing with a mental health
issue.
The talents and gifts of all will be
respected and appreciated.
The Society will always respect the privacy
of individuals and their
families/advocates and will ensure confidentiality of private
information.
Everyone is encouraged to develop personal
independence.
Interactions focus on individual needs, are
growth orientated and supportive.

Supportive relationships will be the basis
for interactions with individuals, families, advocates and volunteers.
Individuals, families and caregiver
involvement and support.
Recognition and respect for the role of staff
in their supportive relationships.
Relationships with community stakeholders are

The Society will always make the best use of
resources in order to improve the quality of life.
